15th edition of Barcelona Fashion Week

15th edition of Barcelona Fashion Week with a new location – The Maritime Museum – to welcome the shows by the 34 designers who presented their latest collections including womenswear, menswear and even children’s fashion. Take a look at the work of the designer Txell Miras. Her worked lines in 3D attract all the attention like her experimentations with cardboard. She’s definitely one of the designers to watch and to not miss out on. During the 4 days, one should make sure they see the shows by the 3 biggest houses, famous across the world: Mango, Custo, and Desigual. At Mango, it’s the actress Elisa Sednaoui who sets the tempo for this new summer 2015 collection with a seventies trend. Custo Barcelona like always rides the exotic wave through detailed prints but les eccentric than usual, bringing more charm to a winter collection. As for the famous brand Desigual, they presented their masculine collection, with a sportswear trend with soft tones, equally well received. You could say the best part of this fashion week was the menswear. The collections were non-stop with 3 big trends to remember: the ever changing shirt which becomes the central element to the wardrobe and the knitwear found everywhere, from a jumper to a cardigan and oversized scarves. Without forgetting the jumpsuit, a huge success with the women, and even more important for the men. It’s true that for this season the man was more energetic than the woman who had tones which revolved principally around black and grey whilst the outfits consisted of hoods and huge collars. Even the makeup showed a dark side, making reference to injuries and the living dead. Overall, the collections were depressing and monotone. Luckily the famous children’s collections bring joy and guarantee to put on a show like at Boboli or CND BY Condor. Music free of rights : Bandit & Nikit
