Nike presiona a Adidas por las patentes

Nike gana la carrera por las patentes en Europa. ¿Podría interpretarse como un medio para preparar acciones judiciales como los enfrentamientos llevados a cabo entre Apple y Samsung?

Según el periódico alemán Die Welt, que se ha basado en un estudio realizado por el gabinete Grünecker, Nike ha registrado el 77% de las patentes europeas de 2000 a 2010 inscritas por los cinco mayores grupos de equipamiento deportivo. Por detrás, Adidas registró un 15%. Siguen Puma (5%), Asics (2%), Reebok (1%). En total, durante la década pasada, Nike registró 650 innovaciones en el instituto europeo de patentes con sede en Munich. Éstas abarcan ropa, calzado y material deportivo.

La agencia de comunicación Dpa recuerda que en los últimos 20 años, Nike ha registrado 300 patentes para calzado contra las 56 registradas por su rival bávaro.
