Balmain Show- Women's Collection Autumn/Winter 2018/19 in Paris

Creative Director: Olivier RousteingInspiration: at the Hôtel de Ville in Paris, Olivier Rousteing shows his new army of girls, sublime and full of character, they like to stand out in throwaway outfitsCollection: rich, colourful, graphic and futuristic, shimmering and sensual. A play on transparency and the effects of light on fluid ensembles at the start followed by cut up or quilted denim. Black and powder pink make an appearance, leather and organza blend together, for band dresses frilled along the arms. A fluorescent touch for the new Amazons who look like they’ve just walked out of a video game. To finish, it’s a call to brightness and silver, rhinestones and stripes. An eighties mood mixed with a touch of sportswear. To note: Natasha Poly who closes the show in this silver, long pleated skirt paired with a striped sweater + the elastic bands with the Balmain logo shaping a bra and dress + the open ankle boots, transparent, without zips.
